ON Halloween - or a few days after it was a year sober. well that fuzzy kind of sober... the harder addiction(s) I'm proud of it-- sorta... not like take me out to dinner proud...

but I think of it all. when I came into work. after that night when I almost - well - yeah. and I think about how different things are now. and How I wonder if that same person exists inside me or if that's gone... I hope so. I've made enough mistakes, I've re-lived enough mistakes... it feels like my blood has finally healed... and maybe my heart a bit...
