as I was just about to take a second away i thought of my smile today...

how wide

how warm

and although it happened today-

the smiling to myself-

i was standing there in the kitchen

on the phone

hearing someone say they missed me

"later cutie pie"

stupid little thing

really

but thinking now

it's those things i keep telling myself i don't miss

but i do

the smile tells me

thank god for bad accents and 4 wheelers
